Why are the currency rates slightly different from my bank?
Banks and currency exchanges apply their own spreads and fees on top of the mid-market rate. Our converter shows the mid-market rate sourced from financial data providers, which is typically the most accurate publicly available rate.
How often are currency rates updated?
Rates are fetched live from our API providers and cached for up to one hour server-side. Your browser also caches rates for 30 minutes. Click "↺ Refresh" in the currency converter to force a fresh fetch.
Can I suggest a new converter category?
Absolutely — email us with the category name and the units you'd like supported. We regularly add new converters based on user requests.
Is this tool free to use?
Yes, completely free. The site is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. No registration, no subscription, no hidden fees.
